The Great Daffodil Appeal is Marie Curie’s largest annual fundraiser. It encourages people to give a donation to the cancer charity and wear one of the charity’s daffodil pins during March.
The appeal has raised over £80 million since its launch in 1986, enabling Marie Curie Cancer Care to provide more free hands-on care and emotional support to people with terminal illnesses and their families.
The charity is looking for volunteers to collect outside supermarkets and other location in the Ashford and Tenterden areas.
