Information:
People with muscular dystrophy and their families are invited to visit the Ashford Muscle Group, which is run by the charity Muscular Dystrophy UK.
It gives an opportunity for sufferers to get advice on how to manage their condition.
A meeting is being held at the Holiday Inn, Canterbury Road, Ashford, on Monday 19th October from 1pm-3pm.
Muscle Groups are a great way to get involved, meet people and their families in your local area affected by muscular dystrophy or a related condition and share information and advice.
These meetings will be focused on exercise, such as specialist physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.
This will be a chance to share your experiences on accessing services in your area as well as getting tips and advice on forms of exercise for people with muscle-wasting conditions.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and parking is available. New members are always welcome.
