Each year, St. Mary's Church in Sellindge holds a community art and flower festival which culminates in a harvest festival service.
Community groups, businesses and individuals of Sellindge are encouraged to participate and make a flower arrangement to be a part of the festival.
If you live or work in Sellindge, you are warmly invited to participate in this year's festival by donating an arrangement which reflects yourself or your organisation. The church will be open on Friday 2nd October for you to make your arrangement in situ or to drop off the arrangement.
The festival will begin on Saturday 3rd October. The church will be open for people to view the flowers and to enjoy a ploughman's lunch.
On Sunday 4th October, the annual Harvest Festival Service begins at 11am and all are welcome. Any food donated during this service will be donated to those in need in the village.
If you wish to participate, St Mary's would be grateful if you could let them know so they have an indication of how many flowers they will have. You can do this by emailing mary.sage@hotmail.co.uk
